About Us at FGA Architects

Frank is the founder and owner of FGA. With a BArch from Drexel University in Philadelphia and over 20 years of experience in the field of architecture, Frank has a vast portfolio of commercial and residential projects on the East Coast, with a concentration in the Raleigh Triangle Area.  

His experience in design and building codes in multiple regions allows for projects of a variety of sizes and complexity. His firm, with its diverse team of international design experts, has been recognized as one of Raleigh’s Best Firms by Raleigh’s news and observer. Frank's leadership and vision-making form a great foundation for success and innovation within the organization.

With over 20 years of experience, Leonardo has worked on diverse projects spanning residential, commercial, and industrial architecture. His expertise includes interior design, landscaping, and real estate consulting. As a university professor for three years, he shared his insights with budding architects in the Architectural Design field.

Leo led design projects for 10+ hospitals in Salta, Argentina. As a student, he won a national award for sustainable housing and the first prize for designing the Organ Donor Monument. Renowned for his meticulous attention to detail, Leonardo excels in crafting aesthetically pleasing, functional, and sustainable spaces.

Asma, a Jordanian architect, brings seven years of diverse architectural experience covering residential, commercial, landscape architecture, and historical site preservation. Her passion for the built environment drives her work, evident in achievements such as a local award for her contributions to the "Umm Al-Jimal" Village conservation project.

Her dedicated community engagement earned trust in the Town of Aqaba District, where she proposed the "New Aqaba Waterfront" design. Asma seamlessly aligns with FGA's vision, showcasing skillfulness and dedication. Her portfolio illustrates proficiency in integrating contemporary design while honoring tradition, making her a valuable addition to FGA's team.

Andrew, an alumnus of Drexel University, got his architectural registration in 1990. His work in animation & visualization won him three prestigious Clio Awards during his tenure at Industrial Light & Magic. His branding, marketing, and advertising expertise gives FGA a distinct industry advantage.
 
Andrew’s favorite project is a $8M beachfront residence with sweeping views for Irv and Shelly Mangel. Spanning 6,000 square feet, this architectural sculpture in Margate, NJ, harmonizes with its environment. The white forms not only reflect the essence of the surrounding white sands but also earned accolades, including a spot on Philadelphia Magazine's Best of Philly list.

Isis, originally from Táchira, Venezuela, moved to the United States in 2015, where she completed her internships in Bay Harbor, Miami. Licensed in Venezuela for six years, she is currently in the process of obtaining her license to practice in North Carolina. Additionally, in 2022, she acquired her Real Estate license in North Carolina, which complements her work as an architect by providing better support to her clients in renovating and constructing homes.

Her experience includes projects in Florida, North Carolina, and Venezuela, being recognized by the College of Engineers in her country for her outstanding contribution to technological proposals for affordable housing solutions.

As Accounting Manager at FGA Associates, Diana is responsible for all accounting-related functions.  She oversees invoicing and processes incoming payments.

Diana has a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She also works for a local property management company and previously worked at a restaurant management company in Philadelphia before moving to North Carolina in 2018. She is married to our Principal Architect, Frank, and they are raising their two children together.
